CounterCurrent was founded with the mission of addressing misconceptions about Islam and challenging harmful stereotypes. Recognizing the urgent need for action, particularly among Muslims in the West, it focused on dedicating all available efforts and resources to achieving this goal. The growing tide of hate and the resulting Islamophobia left no room for complacency or wishful thinking.

To counter this negativity, CounterCurrent launched a series of publications aimed primarily at non-Muslims. By the grace of the Almighty, the impact of these efforts was evident from day one. The initiative envisions the wide distribution of literature across the country and beyond. Additionally, CounterCurrent is committed to educating the Muslim community about their faith, with a special focus on empowering the younger generation.
